Training and Coaching
Lessons and clinics are available by appointment with Nicole McOwn, EA Level 1 general instructor at your place or ours. Dressage, show jumping and cross country tuition available. We can also offer lessons in groundwork and foal and young horse handling. School horses are available for riders 12 years and over.
Full training is available for your horse on a weekly, casual basis or full time basis. Our training program can be tailored for your horse's needs and can include a variety of sessions such as lunging, riding out, jumping, dressage and familiarisation at outside venues (such as competitions).
Float training and foal weaning and handling are also available.
Rates are as follows:
$28.00 per day agistment including feed in a private paddock; or
$20.00 per day agistment including feed in a shared paddock.
PLUS
$400 per week for full time training (5x rides per week).
OR
$80 per ride at our place
$90 per ride at external venue in the Macedon Ranges area. Other venues by negotiation.
Private Lessons are:
$88 per lesson at our place on your own horse
$110 per lesson at our place on one of our school horses
$99 per lesson at external venue in the Macedon Ranges area. Other venues by negotiation.
Shared Lessons are:
$50 per person per lesson at our place on your own horse
$77 per person per lesson at our place on one of our school horses
$60 per person per lesson at external venue in the Macedon Ranges area. Other venues by negotiation.
Lessons are a minimum of 45 minutes duration up to one hour.
Riding Club Rallies are:
$90 per hour for private lessons
$100 per hour for shared lessons
Lesson Cancellation Policy
48 hours or more notice of cancellation - no charge.
24 - 47 hours notice of cancellation - no charge if doctor's certificate or vet certificate provided otherwise 50% of lesson fee payable.
On day of lesson - no charge if doctor's certificate or vet certificate provided otherwise 100% of lesson fee payable.
