About Us
Mellizo Park Equestrian Centre is located at the foot hills of the Macedon Ranges in Bolinda, Victoria, approximately 50 minutes north of Melbourne's Central Business District.
The centre is owned and managed by Nicole and Brendan McOwn.
Mellizo Park is named after the Spanish Andalusian Gelding 'Mellizo' (pictured). Mellizo is a special horse who is much loved by all who meets him so it was fitting that our equestrian centre be named after him.
Mellizo Park has just started as a small stud breeding warmbloods and andalusians. Mellizo Park has a strong foundation of quality broodmares and currently breeds to outside warmblood stallions to combine some of the best bloodlines available in Australia.
Mellizo Park also offers training of horses at competitive rates by Nicole McOwn, a competitive FEI rider with over 35 years experience. Nicole is an EA Level 1 general coach and offers lessons in dressage, show jumping and cross country.
